About me

From living in the lush and rustic mountains in Maine, to the historical city of Chicago, to the idyllic North Shore suburbs-they all have design influences that are reflected in my work. I like incorporating art and nature and exploring creativity combined with practical space planning in order to achieve interesting aesthetics and ultimate functionality. I am drawn to composition and symmetry with lots of layering of textures making spaces cohesive and harmonious. I enjoy collaborating with the Client creating one of a kind vignettes by pulling from various resources.  I appreciate the process and all aspects of design-whether it be monochromatic or colorful , modern, traditional or something in between-blending new pieces with curated vintage treasures and often personal collections that are meaningful and unique. All can be inviting and comfortable spaces you can call home. 

Aside from many years of studying and working in art & design-my decades of experience working in real estate, film & television and the fashion industry has really helped develop and cultivate my personal style and creativity. I  incorporate this in order to piece  together design plans that are not only functional,  both on trend and timeless  but truly tailored to the Client so it doesn’t look like every house next door. I also like to advise Clients on making good design decisions that add value to their real estate investments . It brings me such joy and happiness to see these designs come to life.
